Agarose gel electrophoresis
A unique combination of PCR products and a number of proprietary plasmids digested with appropriate restriction enzymes, suitable for use as molecular weight standards for agarose gel electrophoresis. We offer two types of DNA Ladders that are pre-mixed, ready-to-use molecular weight markers containing tracking dyes.
100 bp DNA Ladder (Ready-to-Use)
The DNA includes 12 fragments ranging from 100-3,000 base pairs. The 500 and 1,500 base pair bands have increased intensity to serve as reference points. The approximate mass of DNA in each band is provided (0.54 µg a load) for approximating the mass DNA in comparably intense sample of similar size.

1 kb DNA Ladder (Ready-to-Use)
The DNA includes 13 fragments ranging from 100-10,000 base pairs. The 1,000 and 3,000 base pair bands have increased intensity to serve as reference points. The approximate mass of DNA in each band is provided (0.5 µg a load) for approximating the mass DNA in comparably intense sample of similar size.
